Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions set out below apply to all participants submitting entries for the Good Choice Campaign (“the Promotion”) conducted by Kraft Foods SA (Pty) Limited, 18 Harrowdene Office Park, Kelvin Drive, Woodmead, Sandton, 2191.  Tel: 011 253 400 (“the Promoters”) in conjunction with O, The Oprah Magazine SA, 21 St Johns Street, Gardens, 8001. Tel: 021 464 6200 (“the Promoters”)

  1. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. No director, member, partner, employee, or agent of, or consultant of the Promoters or their subsidiaries and affiliated companies, prize sponsors, suppliers of the prize and their advertising agencies and immediate families may enter the competition.
  3. Winners must be resident in South Africa.
  4. The Promotion begins on the 21st of May 2012 and runs until the 27th of July 2012. No entries received after midnight on the 27th July 2012 will be accepted.
  5. Submission of entry into the Competition can be done via logging onto www.goodchoices.co.za and completing the Good Choices Application Form by following the step by step prompts. The aim of the Promotion is to create and submit a good choices vision board.  Twenty finalists will be drawn and contacted telephonically to motivate their good choices.  The best motivation chosen by the Promoters will win the main draw prize of R100 000 worth of prizes.
  6. In addition to the main draw of R100 000 worth of prizes, all entries before 08  June 2012 stand a chance of winning double tickets to the exclusive Martha Beck event.  Winners of the Martha Beck event tickets will not be excluded from the main prize draw of R100 000 worth of prizes.
  7. The prize is non-transferable and may not be converted into cash.
  8. All entries must be submitted in English only by using the Good Choices application to create a Good Choices board.
  9. Prize allocation is to be provided in accordance with the allocated project budget as decided by the Promoters, suppliers of the prize and/or their advertising agency up to the total value of R100 000. If any advertiser/affiliate with whom the Promoters works in relation to a prize fails or neglects to provide the prize, then it shall not be exchanged for cash but a suitable replacement prize, to be determined at the sole discretion of the Promoters, shall be provided.
  10. No persons under the age of 18 will be considered eligible for the prize.
  11. The Promoters accepts no responsibility for any problems resulting in lost entries.
  12. Winners use the prize(s) at their own risk. The Promoters shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death, which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence, including gross negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize.
  13. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them when entering. These rules are legal and binding upon entrants.
  14. The Promoters reserves the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances arise outside of their control.
  15. The winner(s) consents to his/her name, biographical details and involvement in the Promotion being made available to the sponsors, to use his or her image in marketing material or participate in any marketing activity for publicity and prize delivery purposes.
  16. The winner agrees to be photographed for and to appear in a feature in Associated Magazines’ magazines if required by Associated Magazines in relation to the Promotion.
  17. The entrant is notified that he/she has a right to decline consenting to his/her name, biographical details and involvement in the Promotion being made available to sponsors in terms of clause 8 above. The entrant further has the right to decline being photographed for and to appear in a feature in O, The Oprah Magazine SA or Associated Magazines’ magazines in terms of clause 15 above. Should the entrant wish to exercise either or both of these rights, he/she shall do so by informing us within three days of he/she accepting the terms and conditions, via e-mail to donna@assocmags.co.za, in which e-mail he/she shall provide us with particularity of the rights which he/she wishes to exercise. Should he/she not inform us that he/she intends exercising these rights within the above 3-day period, he/she shall be deemed to have consented to clauses 10 and 15 above.
  18. If, for whatever reason, the selected entrant decides not to take the prize, it will be forfeited to the next valid entrant.
  19. Prize winners will be notified telephonically.
  20. The winners will be required to sign an indemnity form before claiming their prize.
  21. Any additional expenses incurred will be for winner’s own account.
